Brandon Schmidt loves being outdoors and heard Farmers Coop Association was a great place to work. On March 13, 2014, he joined the team serving as an agronomy applicator, grain handler, fuel deliveryman, and works in the shop as well.
Brandon remarked is learning a lot about agriculture as this is his first job in this industry. Prior to joining Farmers Coop Association, Brandon was a meat cutter at Fareway and worked for the City of Fayette as well. “We moved back to our home area and this job was very interesting to me,” he explained. “I will give it all I can.”
Brandon, who is originally from Garner, and his wife, Katie, and their children Brantley, 3, and Wyatt, 10 months, live in Forest City. When he’s not working or spending time with his family, Brandon likes to hunt, fish, and work in his garage, doing anything to be outside and busy.
